Lately, I've been going round and round with an idea I first came up with some time early last year--about an inland mountainous civilization connected by a network of aerial tramways. Inspiration comes from a variety of sources, such as Miyazaki's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Marcus Sedgwick's The Book of Dark Days, the most dangerous roads in the world, and freaky carnival rides. Like a lot of other ideas, it's been bubbling mostly in my head. I really should start writing things down.
