Wednesday write-in: no one else showed up. I'm sensing a theme here. Maybe the middle of the week write-ins are useless. But, well, I did end up writing quite a bit with no one, except those people speaking French loudly, bothering me. And it was a good thing I left when I did because some band was starting up in the cafe. Loud music not coming from my earphones equals not conducive atmosphere for writing.
Anyways, I just finished up a really long and probably boring chapter. It's mostly info dumping in the form of dialogue. And I was totally itching to get a bad word in there at the end. This story needs to be more edgy and foul-mouthed. But it almost never works when you're feeling more tired than angry.
This is also the first time in over a week that I'm over the required word count for the day. If I were anyone else, I would be celebrating. Instead, I'm looking for a new goal to beat (unless Baty somehow comes up with 5k between now and tomorrow). Hm, maybe some of my writing buddies--they're still ahead of me.
