Lately, I've been doing some calculations. I'm trying to make an alternate calendar using Triton's sidereal rotation period and Neptune's orbit around the sun. Of course, I'm also using artistic license to round some numbers so that it isn't such a big headache to plan out the time line of events.
I guess this will fall into the category of background world building. Cause nobody's really going to see the use of this calendar except maybe in chapter titles.
Also: I've considered including footnotes in this novel but then decided it would not be entirely appropriate for this year's project. It could be something to do for next year's project though...
