At the moment, I'm having trouble coming up with catalysts--that is, strange and unusual events that will immediately draw the writer (and possibly the reader) into the rest of the plot. Yeah, the whole tagline for Nano is "No plot? No problem!" But I'm not looking for a step-by-step outline. I just want at least one scene that will totally galvanize me for the upcoming months. And right now, I have nada.
