Well, I've started quite late. Despite all my intentions, I woke up at my usual time instead of a couple hours earlier, and my day has mostly been filled with work at the lab. In fact, with the amount of lab work ahead of me, it's beginning to look a lot like this summer during Script Frenzy (which I failed miserably). Yep, that means staying overnight in lab--doing bench work, not writing.
Gah... I know that feeling. I didn't start until late in the day (writers block)... and you read about the result of that (cheers for the encouragement).
I also know about the lab work... my final year dissertation didn't work particularly well, and as such I was forced to spend as much time as I could in the lab. This left me about two weeks to write it up though. I'm just lucky they only wanted 15,000 words...
I wasn't allowed to stay in the labs particularly late though... that irritated me something chronic.
You know, I'm completely off my NaNo daily wordcount. I started bright and early November 1st, but managed to lose a day and a half to some horrible stomach thing that is better left undescribed (but that I have described in my blog, in case you want to check it out, lol). So I'm roughly 3200? words behind I think. Oh well...
