The Nano forums don't appear to be crashing--just going really slowly. The last time I checked, there were a little over 1500 people on the site. Maybe later tonight when everyone in Europe and the East Coast are asleep, the site will be faster. There are also a couple noticeable bugs, but I'm betting people have already notified the administrators about it.
Fantasy seems to have a very happening forum although none of the threads really interest me. I guess I could start a thread of my own, but I'm not much of a thread starter. And I'm thinking about adopting newbies again this year--but I suppose I'll wait a little on that. Due to the slow site, I doubt any PMs would be quickly sent and I wouldn't want people thinking that I've abandoned them already.
Not very many people seem to be on the regional forums. But it is the first day and I haven't even started putting flyers up on campus yet.
I've been checking back the last couple of days and it's still going really slow. But I love it too much to abandon out of impatience. I noticed that the Fantasy forum is really busy, too - it's almost overwhelming.
