Well, tomorrow marks the opening of the new Nano forums/database as well as sign-ups--and of course, the inevitable site meltdown. I'll probably check once to see if I can get onto the site. If not, no big deal. I'll just wait a couple days.
I also updated my prepwork page for this year. Scans and pics of my planning might not go up until late October--depending on how well my planning goes.
And speaking of planning, ignore the idea I put up before. My enthusiasm level for it isn't as high as I'd like to be. I have another idea that's really more of an adventure and perhaps a little bit of self-discovery. I've done more than one mystery in my previous Nano novels already.
And some links for those preparing for Nano:
Things I wish I'd been told before I started NaNo. I agree with most of them (I left some comments after that post about some caveats). A good guide to follow, especially if you're a newbie to this novel writing madness.
Collection of Useful NaNo Links. Don't know where to start? This site has links to character development, plotting, and more.
