I did not finish the 3-day novel. I got a lot of writing done anyway which is better than nothing at all. Compared to what a person would have to write daily for Nanowrimo, I did quite a bit more.
Actually, I'm thinking I could use what I did write as background for a story that's been slowly gelling for Nano. But there's some months yet to go, so we'll see.
