Here's what I wrote on my main weblog on September 28:
"As for an idea for this year's novel, I do have one. If I had to fit it into a genre, it would be cheesy horror with overtones of Dracula. Except there will be no vampires and there will be more emphasis on the gore than the blood."
The problem with this idea is that it is one of several other ideas. Most of them which I came up with yesterday. So I do not expect to have settled down on one thing until maybe sometime in mid-October.
So with this post, I'll be gearing up this particular writing journal again. For those of you who are regular readers of Syaffolee and happen to have stumbled onto here, I promise I won't write about writing in the main weblog for the next two months (unless it's a note that I finished or something).
